We married in 1983 and started our cow/calf operation two years later. As third generation ranchers it was important to us to carry on our family beliefs and traditions, and to be able to pass those on to our children and grandchildren... with a love for the land, and for our herd.
Through the years, as our herd expanded, and our kids grew more involved, we exhibited our steers and heifers -- showing on a local, regional and national level, where we not only gained a deeper knowledge of meat regulations, industry standards, and consumer preferences, but most of all, gained friendships to last a lifetime... from our fellow cattlemen and cattlewomen, to our customers.
Our cattle are more than a business to us...
We strive to give our bulls, cows and calves green pastures in the summer months on the Colorado-Wyoming state line, and the upmost care at our home place on the northern plains of Weld County during the winter, and volatile months of calving season. We appreciate everything they give back to our family, and through us, to our valued customers: Excellent nutritional benefits and great tasting beef.
